Hello to all of you lovely people reading my bio – I hope you enjoy my story! I began my hairdressing journey over 25 years ago, opening my first salon at just 19. After refining my skills across the hair, beauty, and barbering industries, I became an educator and ambassador for Keune Cosmetics. In 2017, I moved to Manchester and co-founded Avesta, which has since grown into both a salon and academy by 2024. While my passion for hairdressing runs deep, my true joy lies in making my clients feel incredible about themselves and leaving the salon with a smile. I'm an all-round hairdresser, but here are a few areas I particularly enjoy: I get excited about drastic colour changes and colour corrections. I thrive on the challenge, and technical services are my specialties. I love working with Asian and Middle Eastern hair to achieve hair goals that might seem impossible. My approach involves mixing and matching colouring techniques to create your perfect look. Working with naturally curly and Afro-Caribbean hair is another specialty of mine. As someone with curly hair, I understand the challenge of finding the right cut and style. I'll pamper your curls and offer advice on the best products to style them at home. I love cutting and styling hair, tailoring my approach to the feel and texture of each client's hair. Whether you're after a sleek bob or long layers, I'll help you achieve your ideal look. I also enjoy barbering. Men's hair services may be less versatile, but it allows me to get creative. You'll be amazed at how small changes can have a big impact on your overall appearance. Hair extensions are one of my favorites. I've been doing them since they were first introduced, and I love adding volume and length with classic weaves, micro and nanobeads, or tapes. I'm always happy to advise you on the best colour and cut that suits your face shape, skin tone, and lifestyle, ensuring a personalized look. It brings me great joy to see my clients leave the salon feeling confident, thinking, 'Wow, I look amazing today.' My passion for hair is immense – I truly live, breathe, and sleep it.
